Fritz Hansen
Italy 1932

Denmark 1872 Founded in 1872 with a heritage of nearly 150 years, with a long list of prestigious orders from all over the world, Fritz Hansen is not only regarded as a top-quality home furnishing product, but also a collection treasure favored by art collectors around the world. In the 1930s, Fritz Hansen's son, Christian, had the foresight to try to bend wooden seats with steam technology. This technology opened a revolutionary breakthrough in the 1930s and won unanimous praise from the industry. This bending technology not only makes furniture stronger and more durable, but also lighter, thus greatly enhancing Fritz Hansen's position as a leader in this field. After the launch of the first Danish steel furniture, the famous church chair in collaboration with designer Kaare Klint remained in the collection of Fritz Hansen from 1936 to 2004. The ChinaTM chair designed by the Danish national treasure furniture designer Hans J. Wegner in 1944 is a classic masterpiece of the brand and a perfect combination of wood and top furniture craftsmanship. The second classic is the spoke-back sofa designed by designer Børge Mogensen after World War II in 1945 and relaunched in 1963, which became the most representative Danish design at that time. Fritz Hansen continued to cooperate with emerging designers to interpret the brand's design concept, especially Kasper Salto's Ice series and Pelikan Design's Plano, which received warm responses. In recent years, it has also cooperated with the popular Spanish creative genius Jaime Hayón. The minimalist Ro chair has become the best-selling work of the brand in the past century.
